A lot of times being good at something can be a real diversion, such as skateboarding. It's low cost, social and very physical.

I changed my email address to writingtherapids@gmail.com - are you able to unfollow the blog and then re-follow and let me know if this works :) - otherwise I may have to re-build!

Thanks again and see you:)Allie-Milliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03638574249414888902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504659617823288460.post-77989924313960911672014-11-04T01:25:25.151+11:002014-11-04T01:25:25.151+11:00Hello again, dear Allie-Millie!

I did so by playing with boys who were older, bigger and better than me.

At the Shady Dell there were many kids who had problems at home which caused them to act out at the Dell, drink and get into fights. I have a chilling memory of standing on a wind swept hillside one cold November night drinking with two other "Dell rats." As we drank we swapped stories. The other two boys had a long list of complaints about how their parents treated them. I didn't have much to say because my parents treated me well. That very night after our drinking party broke up one of those boys was in a terrible head-on car crash and nearly lost his life. Two years later the other boy I had been drinking with that night was killed in another head-on crash. The first boy, the one who was nearly killed but survived his accident, drowned several years later whilst boating on a lake.

Dear Allie-Millie, I want you to know that your posts are no longer showing up in my reader. The last one to make it to my reader was two weeks ago, the one titled "Chapter 1 - At Her Mercy." I log on to your blog every couple of days just to check for a new post in case I am missing it but please forgive me if I arrive late on occasion. I wanted to make you aware of this problem because it might explain why Cherdo and other readers are not coming by to read and comment.

Have a wonderful week, dear friend!Shady Del Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03839935472941264414noreply@blogger.com
